The main text of the LDO was approved in the Congress session on the morning of 24 August. However, they were outstanding voting three highlights. Veto 44/2016 - was affixed to the MP 729 / 2016 , transformed into Law 13,348 / 2016 , which releases the Union financial assistance to municipalities and the Federal District to expand the provision of early childhood education. Temer vetoed device that gave financial support of at least 25% if the Federal District or the municipality did not comply with the established annual target.

Also on the agenda of the Congress are two draft resolutions. The PRN 3/2013 increases the deadline for receipt of amendments to interim measures. Currently, the MP may be amended "in the first six days following" its publication in the Official Gazette. The bill changes the deadline for "the first ten working days following the publication."
